Shruti Haasan's 2017 Birthday celebrations in Chennai

Bringing in yet another promising year was none other than the pan India rockstar-actress Shruti Haasan. She celebrated her birthday over the weekend at her father Kamal Haasan's house in Chennai and invited 15-20 of her good friends. 

Present ofcourse was her father,
two of her childhood friends who flew in from London along with some friends from Bombay and ofcourse from Chennai including Tamil actors Tamannah Bhatia, Jiiva and Vishal along with director-choreographer-actor Prabhudeva who's Shruti has worked with before as well.

Shruti's looking forward to 2017 with all the exciting stuff she has lined up - across her film and music work. She brought in her birthday on the sets of her Telugu film opposite Pawan Kalyan where the team got her to cut a special cake on set. The year ahead should see 4 releases for Shruti across all three languages - Behen Hogi Teri in Hindi, Singham 3 opposite Suriya in Tamil, her father's film Sabaash Naidu - which is a tri-lingual and Pawan Kalyan's Telugu film.

Coming back to the party - It was a lovely, casual party at the house spanning a 3 course meal and an easy lounge music vibe. It was an intimate setting that allowed for people to mingle and spend time with the birthday gal.

Movie update: NTR claps for Sai Dharam Tej's Jawan

Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada starrer new film Jawan to be directed by BVS Ravi and produced by Krishna under Arunachal Creations Banner has been launched today with a formal pooja ceremony. Harish Shankar is presenting the film.

NTR sounded the clapboard, while Koratala Siva switched on camera and VV Vinayak directed the first shot. Financier Satte Rangaiah also participated in the pooja ceremony.

Dil Raju said, "Sai Dharam Tej is
doing the film after delivering back to back hits with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Subramanyam For Sale and Supreme. BVS Ravi had worked under my production house for few films such as Bhadra, Munna, Parugu, Mr Perfect. He had narrated me Jawan story couple of years ago and I then told him to develop the story. I really liked the story. We wanted to make Krishna as producer for long time and it is finally happening with the film. We'll give full support like as if our own production in all aspects."

Director BVS Ravi said, "Though title is Jawan, the film won't have any connections with 'Jawans' (military persons). When a middle class family is in troubles, it needs a young guy to set things. Our hero has such qualities. Intikokadu is caption of our film. Like how Jawan is essential for our country, young guys with such attitude is necessary for every family. It's a purely family drama film. Thaman has given wonderful music. Regular shooting of the film starts from March."

Thaman said, "Songs have come out well. We know producer for long period. This is third film for me with Sai Dharam Tej."

Sai Dharam Tej said, "I'm glad to do the film with support of Raju gaaru. I'm doing a film of good and unique story in the combination of Ravi and Krishna. The film will certainly be engaging and entertaining."

However, the 27^th film of NTR is fixed with director Bobby under his brother Kalyan ram' production NTR Arts. Bobby who directed Power for Raviteja is going to direct NTR for his 27^th movie, already it is earlier known to all the Nandamuri fans and movie lovers and it is officially confirmed earlier.

The producer of the film and brother of NTR said about the film that "I am delighted to produce my brother Tarak's 27th film on our home banner NTR Arts. This big budget project will have the very best technical standards and production values. Director Bobby has come up with an excellent story that does justice to both the actor as well as the star in NTR," the previous films that are bankrolled by Kalyanram are Pataas, Kick 2 and ISM are stood as decent hits in his career.

Now, the wait of all Nandamuri fans is over that the makers of the film gave an official announcement about this upcoming project of Young Tiger NTR and Director Bobby. The muhurtham of this film will take place on February 10^th and the regular shoot of this film will be started from February 15^th. The makers of this film make a note about this film that "Happy to announce that #NTR27 will have its muhurtham ceremony on Feb 10th. Regular shooting will commence from Feb 15th."

This movie has actually titled as 'Jai Lava Kusa' and the reports from the Industry say that the item bomb 'Lakshmi Rai' agreed to do an item number in this movie which is currently attracting all the audience. It is known that all the fans are curious about the next film of NTR after Janatha Garage which is a huge block buster. The movie crew is planning o release this movie on 11^th August of 2017.
