Janatha Garage collects $216k from 156 locations on Friday taking total as of Friday to $954,150. The film had good day 2, despite mixed word of mouth. The film collects 5.25cr share on 2nd day, taking 2days total to 25.55cr from AP and Nizam.
Trade pundits predict, Janatha Garage can be another Sarainodu for Tollywood. The Allu Arjun starrer movie got mixed response after its release, but the movie went on to become one of the highest grossers.
With no big competition in near future, Janatha Garage has high chances to end as a safe venture for producers and distributors. Hope, it happens for the well-being of Telugu cinema.
