Nagarjuna to play Karnna in Mohanlal's Mahabharatha.
If the reports coming in are true, then one more super star in India Cinema has been roped in to the magnum opus named Mahabharatha which will have Mohanlal in the lead. Some unconfirmed reports suggests that Telugu Super Star Nagarjuna has been roped in to play the character of Karnna in Shrikumar Menon's Mahabharatha in which Mohanlal will play the lead. Mohanlal will play the character of Bheema in it and the whole movie will revolve around the central character of Bheema in this movie. Even though Nagarjuna had not confirmed the news, he said that MT Vasudevan Nair once asked him that whether he will agree to play Karnna or not if Randamoozham becomes a film.
He said that if his character has importance in the movie, then he will definitely do it. He is a very good friend of Mohanlal and he has good relationship with Shrikumar Menon too. BR Shetty is going to bankroll this project which will be made using 1000 crore rupees.It will start rolling from next year September and the screenplay has been written by MT Vasudevan Nair based on his Masterpiece novel named Randamoozham, in which he retold Mahabharatha through the eyes of Bheema.
