Vijay Devarakonda has become the overnight star with the tremendous success of Arjun Reddy. Of course, he did a mind-blowing performance as Arjun Reddy and now everyone calls him as Arjun Reddy instead of his original name. He is now having 6 projects in his kitty from the famous production houses like Geetha Arts, UV Creations, and Vijayanthi Movies. Now, he is working for a family entertainer movie directed by Parasuram and produced by Geetha Arts. The next project under UV creations is titled as 'Taxiwala' which is said to be Super Natural Thriller written and directed by Rahul Sankruthiyan who made a horror film 'The End' at earlier. He is also known for his short films. This movie is near to completion and the team will release the official announcement on first look and title soon. Besides these, Vijay Devarakonda also committed to the projects directed by debutant director Bharat Kamma, Nandini Reddy (Ala Modhalaindhi fame) and Kranthi Madhav (Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju fame). So, he is not having call sheets for other movies till 2019.
