It's been 1 week since the biopic based on MS Dhoni's life 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' released and in this short span the movie has racked up a box office collection of Rs 88.63 cr.
The movie, which depicts Dhoni's journey to India's World Cup winning captain and sporting icon of the country since Sachin Tendulkar, is most definitely a must watch for cricket lovers.,,Apart from the stellar acting by lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni, and true to the title, the untold story of Dhoni's humble beginnings, the one other aspect of the movie that is being well appreciated is the role and significance of Yuvraj Singh, played by Herry Tangri. Tangri has been lauded for his acting in which he portrays a young Yuvraj.
His striking resemblance and near perfect mannerisms of the Punjab player is one of the best parts of the movie.,,Among the many stories that unravel in the movie, one is about Dhoni's first meeting with his future India teammate in Under-19 Cooch-Behar trophy final between Bihar and Punjab from 1999 played at the Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur.,,The movie showcases Dhoni's batting on Day 1 of the match. He remains unbeaten on 70 at the end of day's play. But in the next scene Dhoni is in his friend's home apparently in shock of what happened in the subsequent days of the match.,,,Describing the match, Dhoni, played by Rajput tells his friends that on day two he got out on 84 and then the team was all out for 357. Punjab lost their first wicket on 60, then Yuvraj Singh came out to bat. At stumps on Day 2 their score was 108/1 and in the entire day three's play only one Punjab wicket fell. At the end of Day 3, Punjab's score was 431/2, Yuvraj scored a double century. Last day, Punjab's total was 839 and Yuvraj alone scored 358, one run more than Bihar's team total.
